1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you, the Shopify merchant ("Merchant," "you," or "your"), and Two Olive Trees LLC and its affiliated entities ("we," "us," or "our"), the developer of PrayerReceipt.

By installing, accessing, or using PrayerReceipt through the Shopify App Store, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the app. These Terms apply in addition to Shopify's Partner Program policies and any other terms governing your use of the Shopify platform.

2. Description of Service

PrayerReceipt is a Shopify embedded application that automatically generates AI-powered intercessory prayers for customer orders and delivers them to customers via email on the merchant's behalf. The service includes:

• Automated prayer generation via the Anthropic AI API, triggered by incoming customer orders
• Transactional email delivery of generated prayers to customers via Resend
• A merchant dashboard for viewing prayer history, delivery status, and daily totals
• Plan management for Free and Blessed Plan ($3.19/month or $32.28/year) tiers
• Blessed Plan features: unlimited daily prayers for standard merchant volumes, custom email signature, and custom closing line

3. Acceptable Use

3.1 Permitted Use

PrayerReceipt is designed for use by faith-driven merchants who wish to offer intercessory prayer as a genuine expression of care for their customers. You may use PrayerReceipt to:

• Send personalized AI-generated intercessory prayers to your customers following their orders
• Customize prayer email content within the bounds of the Blessed Plan features
• Access your prayer history and delivery data through the merchant dashboard

3.2 Prohibited Use

You agree not to use PrayerReceipt to:

• Send content that is harassing, abusive, discriminatory, or harmful to recipients
• Misrepresent the nature of the prayer emails to customers (e.g. disguising them as order confirmations or marketing)
• Use the service in a manner that violates Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy or Partner Program requirements
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of PrayerReceipt
• Resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer access to PrayerReceipt to third parties
• Circumvent daily prayer limits or billing controls through technical manipulation
• Use PrayerReceipt to send communications to customers that are not intercessory prayers

4. Billing and Payment

4.1 Free Plan

PrayerReceipt is available at no charge on the Free plan, subject to a limit of 100 prayers per day. Free plan features are provided as-is with no guaranteed uptime beyond Shopify's standard app availability.

4.2 Blessed Plan

The Blessed Plan is available at $3.19 per month or $32.28 per year (equivalent to $2.69/month). The Blessed Plan unlocks unlimited daily prayers for standard merchant volumes, custom email signature, and custom closing line.

4.3 Billing via Shopify

All billing for the Blessed Plan is processed exclusively through Shopify's Billing API. PrayerReceipt never collects, stores, or processes your payment card information. By upgrading to the Blessed Plan, you authorize Shopify to charge your account in accordance with Shopify's billing terms. Subscription charges appear on your Shopify invoice.

4.4 Cancellation and Downgrade

You may cancel the Blessed Plan or downgrade to the Free plan at any time through the PrayerReceipt plan management page. On downgrade, custom email signature and closing line values are removed immediately and default values are applied. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods, consistent with Shopify's billing policies, except where required by applicable law (including EU and UK statutory withdrawal rights where they apply). Your cancellation date is recorded for billing audit purposes.

4.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change pricing for the Blessed Plan. Merchants on an active Blessed Plan subscription will receive at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before it takes effect.

4.6 Fair Use and Daily Prayer Threshold

The Blessed Plan is designed to support faith-driven merchants sending intercessory prayers to their customers through the natural flow of commerce. To protect the integrity of the service and prevent economic exploitation via automated or scripted bulk order generation, PrayerReceipt applies a daily threshold of 700 prayers per shop on the Blessed Plan.

This threshold is not a product limitation — no legitimate merchant store will approach 700 customer orders in a single day at the scale PrayerReceipt serves. It exists solely as an anti-abuse measure to prevent automated scripting against our AI provider infrastructure.

Merchants whose genuine order volume approaches or exceeds this threshold are encouraged to contact us at support@twoolivetrees.live to discuss enterprise arrangements. We will work with high-volume merchants to ensure uninterrupted service.

The Free Plan daily limit of 100 prayers per day remains unchanged.

5. Customer Data and Privacy

Your use of PrayerReceipt involves the processing of your customers' personal data (names, email addresses, and order details) to generate and deliver prayers. By installing PrayerReceipt, you:

• Acknowledge that you have read and accept our Privacy Policy, available at prayerreceipt.com/privacy
• Agree to the Data Protection Agreement (DPA), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference
• Confirm that you have a valid lawful basis under applicable law (including GDPR where relevant) to direct PrayerReceipt to process your customers' data for the purpose of generating and delivering prayers
• Agree to disclose PrayerReceipt's data processing to your customers in your store's own privacy policy

PrayerReceipt processes customer data solely for the purpose of generating and delivering prayers. We do not sell, share, or use customer data for advertising or any secondary purpose. Full details of data handling are set out in the Privacy Policy and DPA.

6. AI-Generated Content

6.1 Nature of Generated Prayers

Prayers generated by PrayerReceipt are produced by an AI language model (Anthropic Claude). While we strive to generate content that is sincere, appropriate, and consistent with Christian intercessory prayer tradition, we make no warranty that any generated prayer will meet your specific theological standards, denominational preferences, or personal expectations.

6.2 Merchant Responsibility

As the merchant, you are responsible for the content sent to your customers under your store's name. PrayerReceipt provides a merchant dashboard where you can review all prayers sent on your behalf at any time. By using PrayerReceipt, you accept responsibility for the customer communications sent through it. If you identify content you consider objectionable or inappropriate, please notify us promptly at [email protected] and we will investigate and take corrective action as appropriate.

6.3 No Spiritual Guarantee

PrayerReceipt is a software service. The prayers it generates are AI-produced text intended to express genuine intercession on behalf of your customers. Two Olive Trees makes no theological claim or guarantee regarding the spiritual efficacy of any generated prayer. The service is offered in the spirit of faith and service, not as a substitute for personal prayer or pastoral care.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

PrayerReceipt, including its source code, design, branding, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Two Olive Trees LLC. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the application.

7.2 Your Content

Any custom email content you provide (custom signature, custom closing line) remains your property. By providing this content, you grant us a limited license to include it in prayer emails sent to your customers on your behalf.

7.3 Generated Prayers

Prayers generated by PrayerReceipt on your behalf, for your customers, are provided to you for use in your customer communications. We do not claim ownership of individual generated prayers.

8. Service Availability and Modifications

8.1 Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. PrayerReceipt depends on third-party infrastructure (Shopify, Anthropic, Resend, Fly.io, Supabase) and may be affected by outages outside our control. Planned maintenance will be communicated where possible.

8.2 Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, update, or discontinue features of PrayerReceipt at any time. Material changes to the service will be communicated to merchants via in-app notification or email. Continued use of PrayerReceipt after notification of changes constitutes acceptance.

8.3 Discontinuation

If we discontinue PrayerReceipt entirely, we will provide at least 30 days' notice to active merchants. Upon discontinuation, all merchant and customer data will be deleted in accordance with our Data Retention Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

10. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Two Olive Trees LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of PrayerReceipt in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party; or (c) content you provide through the service (including custom email signatures and closing lines).

12. Termination

12.1 By You

You may terminate your use of PrayerReceipt at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store. Upon uninstall, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Data Retention Policy (shop/redact within 48 hours).

12.2 By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to PrayerReceipt without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in abusive use of the service, or if your Shopify store is suspended or terminated. We will provide notice where legally required or practicable.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of PrayerReceipt shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Georgia under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that: (a) either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court for intellectual property violations; and (b) either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court in lieu of arbitration, provided the claim qualifies for small claims court jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents you from filing a complaint with a regulatory authority in your jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to merchants via in-app notification or email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of PrayerReceipt after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance. The version number and effective date at the top of this document reflect the most recent revision.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Data Protection Agreement (incorporated by reference in Section 5), constitute the entire agreement between you and Two Olive Trees LLC with respect to PrayerReceipt and supersede all prior agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof.
